Free Fundraising Teleseminar for Entrepreneurs Friday am!

Postby Tami Szabo » Thu Feb 28, 2008 7:14 pm

Hi Everyone,

I just got an email from Alex Mandossian about a Free Fundraising Teleseminar for Entrepreneurs.

I thought you might like to know about it since he's planning to interview 8 world famous Entrepreneurs.

Here are the email and the call in details. I posted them below. (And no, I am not a partner of his, I'm just sharing information with you)

I hope you find it interesting. I've found his previous teleseminars helpful.

Tami

Thursday, February 28th

FR: Alex Mandossian
RE: SSG Friday Call (Details Below)

Okay, I've got a quick question:

Do you have 45 minutes to spare
tomorrow morning?

The reason I ask is because it's
time for another SmartStartGiving
micro-fundraising call we present
on the final Friday of each month.

All of the calls are *free* so
if you don't want to give a tiny
donation to the cause, just call
in and eavesdrop anyway. Okay?

No other commitments, obligations
or requirements will be expected
on your part. Just a phone call.

->> Why We Conduct These Calls <<-

Our goal is to become Kiva.org's #1
funding consortium in 2008 and help
eradicate poverty in the developing
nations of the world.

Most Entrepreneurs of the 3rd World
make less than $5 a day.

Through the power of micro-funding
we can help fund these hard working
men and women to help change their
own lives, their childrens' lives
and live in their communities.

* * * Dial-In Details Below * * *

Date: Friday, February 29th
Starts: 8am PST/11am EST
Dial: (512)225-3110 PIN: 77321# <-- Call 3 mins early
Duration: 45 minutes

* * We start per www.Time.gov * *

These calls take just 45 minutes
out of your morning, but what you
may discover could benefit you
and your business for a lifetime!

->> Here's What To Expect <<-

Tomorrow, my co-founding partner,
Linda Lopeke, will interview me.

But each month that follows, I will
interview world famous Entrepreneurs
and ask them these 8 questions.

1. What specific incident inspired
you to start your business?

2. What's your crowning achievement?

3. What's the single biggest mistake
you've made along the way?

4. Who's your ideal target market?

5. What *big* idea accelerated your
business growth more than any other?

6. What are your typical business
rituals that drive business growth?

7. How has Giving impacted your
personal and professional life?

8. Knowing what you know today, what
would you have done differently ten
years ago to have grown faster?

Those are great questions to ask
any Entrepreneur, don't you think?

Look, I could go on, and on, about
how important these calls can be
for your business ... and the Third
World Entrepreneurs we will help...

... but all I'm asking of you right
now is to dial-in for the first 10
minutes to decide for yourself.

Fair enough?

If your answer is "YES", please
forward this email to *one* friend.

To Your Giving,

Alex Mandossian

Hi Tami,

Did you have an opportunity to check out this seminar? If so, how was it?

And would you happen to know who the 8 famous entrepreneurs were?

Re Free Fundraising Seminar

Postby bmueller47 » Sun Mar 02, 2008 12:40 pm

Hi Tami,

Thanks for the info. Interesting. I would have loved to listen.

First question asks as to who or what inspired you. It is amazing, people can inspire as well as discourage. Sadly very few people are in the first category.

Question 7 is interesting, re giving and the successive impact on a personal as well on a business level.

Is there one every month? If yes, when will it take place?

Regards

Fundraising Teleseminars for 3rd World Entrepreneurs

Postby Tami Szabo » Sun Mar 02, 2008 3:24 pm

Hi!

Yes, I did get to listen in on the Teleseminar. It was the first of a series scheduled for the last Friday of every month.

I was most excited to discover the underlying plan and purpose of the Teleseminar Series is to begin a campaign where we Entrepreneurs can offer microfunding (max $40 donation) for Third World Entrepreneurs. The money will be given to www.Kiva.org after they have completed the set up of everything. The Teleseminar is open to all Entrepreneurs, whether you donate or not.

The 8 Famous Entrepreneurs will be anounced once the schedule is fully complete. When I find out the schedule I will post it here.

This time, the focus was on how Alex Mandossian quickly built his hugely successful company and how he has expanded it. Yes, there were some great tidbits of information since he shared about his profitable info marketing ideas.

Mark your calendar for the last Fridy of March and you'll be able to find out more personally.

Warm Regards,

Tami

Fundraising for 3rd world Entrepreneurs

Postby Tami Szabo » Mon Mar 03, 2008 4:46 pm

How great to learn that Evan is doing something for Entrepreneurs in Africa!

It just makes me even more thankful to be part of this forum!

After helping create a new charity for animals in my local community last year, I created a vision for a charity empowering Women Entrepreneurs. It won't happen for a while yet, but I know it is something I will do within the next few years.

As we allow ourselves to think bigger, the opportunity to impact people becomes much bigger as well.

Does anyone else have a desire to really make a difference in the world through this means?

Kiva

Postby Evan » Wed Mar 05, 2008 5:54 pm

Thanks for the plug Andy!

We had our most recent workshop last Thursday and raised even more money. The Kiva loans start for as little as $25 - every little bit can go a long way!

Free Entrepreneur Teleseminar Friday am!

Postby Tami Szabo » Thu Apr 24, 2008 7:28 pm

Hi Everyone, I said I would do follow up for the Free Entrepreneur Fundraising Teleseminars held on the last Friday of every month.

Alex Mandossian interviews mystery famous entrepreneurs each month. The call is free, but micro donations that ultimately benefit Kiva are welcomed.

I enjoyed the first one. I missed last month, but the next one is tomorrow morning.

I copied and pasted the following information(in italics), sent out by Alex Mandossian today, for your convenience:

Greg Link was Entrepreneur for March. Read
all about him and listen to the recording at:
http://www.SmartStartGiving.com (Events).

My mystery Entrepreneur of April is the woman
who created Ecademy.com in 1998 ... which has
enabled Entrepreneurs (just like you and me)
to connect, share, and assist one another to
develop their businesses.

If you're in a hurry, here's the access info:

When: Friday - April 25th at 8am PDT / 11am EDT
Where: http://www.SmartStartGiving.com/April08

You have to go to the website above to get the call in information. No you aren't required to give your email address. Let me know how it goes, I can't make it tomorrow.

Here's to being empowered to empower others!

Teleseminar?

Postby bmueller47 » Fri Apr 25, 2008 12:02 pm

Hi there,

Will it be possible to access it later via the internet?

There will be people who are unable to access it live like myself.

Regards
