Find Me Customers and Get 25% of New Client's Bill

Postby EggMarketing » Wed Aug 22, 2007 11:19 am

I run Egg Marketing & Public Relations, a marketing and public relations firm. I am looking to grow my business through a viral affiliate marketing campaign, and I need your help.

If you know someone (or can find someone) who needs marketing assistance for their business, I'd love to take them on as a client. My firm can:
*create marketing plans and strategy
*write web and marketing copy
*write and distribute press releases
*create enewsletter and email campaigns

For every new client you bring me, I will give you 25% of their billable hours. For example, my average monthly consultation fee is $1000. That's $250 per month for the life of the client relationship just for a referral!

I can provide you information and resources to help you. If you're interested, contact me at smpayton@eggmarketingpr.com and let me know where you're based and how you would go about spreading the word to get new clients for Egg.

Viral marketing campaign

Postby Evan » Wed Aug 22, 2007 9:23 pm

Thanks for the generous offer Susan. Have you considered building an affiliate program? I'm not sure if ClickBank or Commission Junction would take on that kind of service instead of a product based company but it's worth investigating. If you can't go with them it could be worth your time developing your own affiliate program.

Another good place to start is with satisfied customers. Someone who is happy with your work knows others who could benefit from your service. Usually all they need is someone to ask them to refer a friend!

Evan--
I have considered affiliates, but I wanted to start more of a viral campaign and see if it worked. I'd like to see how creative people can get! Eventually I'll look into an affiliate program. Thanks for the advice!

Viral?

Postby OmnivoreInk » Thu Aug 23, 2007 11:05 am

I am looking to grow my business through a viral affiliate marketing campaign

Here's that word viral again.

Is there some meaning to this in the commercial world that I'm not aware of, or is it supposed to be "virile"???

To me viral means viruses, as in illnesses?

Viral marketing

No, it is viral, as in an illness, a bacteria, or anything that spreads of its own nature.

If you tell 5 people about my campaign, and they tell 5 people, it's "virally" spreading.

Got it? :D

WideCircles

Postby chamila » Mon Mar 17, 2008 8:07 am

Has anyone out there heard about WideCircles.com. It seems like a way better service then regular pay per click. Apparently they are using refering websites ( forums, blogs, wiki, etc. ) and have a viral word of mouth distributed approach to it which is engaging rather ther then interrupting customers. My friend told me he got over 500 visits from single post which cost him around $0.40c, within a few days. I am going to give them a try today . In case you are intrested here is it.
