This is so true Evan because referred customers are already half sold before they even contact you. The fact that someone they are familiar with has recommended you gives them the confidence to buy as there is some form of trust in place before they even contact you.

Totally agree. And I think customers that come to you via referral will themselves be more likely to refer you to others.

Referrals are an important part of your business, earning the respect of the referrer largely depends on how other see and value you. How you handle the referral customer helps determined whether they pass you onto others
