This is extremely subjective, but here is a good list of MLM blogs to go along with the top 50 Internet Marketing blogs Evan posted. For those of us involved in MLM, these are some great blogs with a lot of good material. There are the top 50 plus several extras the author included.

Thanks for this list, Bill. I think some of us get involved with online marketing ideas and tend to forget about MLM. Over the years, the MLM industry has taken hits now and again for questionable marketing practices (what industry hasn't?), but when done respectfully and effectively, MLM is still a very good way to build a business and earn income. It's great to have a recommended reference list of go-to sources for MLM insider insight - thanks again.

Hi GT. That very subject came up in my Facebook group last week. MLM has taken it's lumps in decades past, but the trend seems to be moving the other way now. When you think about it, most of the affiliate programs out there are borrowing on the concept of MLM. MLM is still the best way for someone to generate a substantial residual income from home. The investment is low and it can easily be started in your spare time. The trick is to have the right training and the right company. And no, the training does not have to be the one provided by the company. The training I use is completely generic. They have up to 10 live training calls a week and there is never any product or company mentioned nor is there any affiliate program attached to it. It's a completely free mentoring and coaching system. The fact that it is not an affiliate program meant a lot to me. I am skeptical of any "recommendation" where the person is making money from it. It makes people question the motives involved.

The 2011 list is out now. I know several of the people who were in the running, and trying to get votes. From what I can tell, it was more about who could solicit the most votes than actual content. Although, they are all pretty good blogs anyway.

Hey, Bill:

Yes, a lot of things seem to go by popularity rather than value. And I suppose the mantra of many Internet Marketers is "whatever it takes" and "whatever gets the job done."

Content and websites with real value and quality sometimes go viral on their merit alone, outside of the popularity factor.

In the case of the Top Blogs contest, I suppose the act of soliciting votes could potentially be an indicator of value, since to get enough votes the writer would have to have a wide circle of influence and must have developed some confidence within that circle.

That's true GT. It does take a good sphere of influence to acquire the needed votes to win something like that. It seems as though any time you have a contest that is voted on by the general public, it tends to degrade into a popularity contest. It should be no surprise.
