Hi Evan,

Thanks for the update; Jim and Robin seem to be early pacesetters in two out of the three categories with the forum posts as competitive as ever with David out in front.

Last time I looked I was second, that’s what happens when you look away for a couple of days  ,

regards,

Mal.

Thanks for the update, Evan. The contest is shaping up real well, so far!

I may take a run at the Approved Articles section, but man, that Jim Clemmer is a machine!

. . . But, it is still early!

Thanks for the update. I would love to say I will take a run at the approved articles section, but I don't think I could keep up. My suspicion is that those at the top have outsourcers who are writing/submitting for them. If not they wouldn't have time for anything else.

Depends on the writer. Stan Prokop is put number one author and is always in the top five every quarter and article writing for us is a big part of his marketing strategy.

For others authors, if they're new, they usually upload their entire archive of articles that maybe they've used for newsletters in the past and then they settle into a slower regular rhythm. It's often why we see names appear out of nowhere for one quarter and the fall off in future contests.

Is this something you recommend we do? I've written a LOT of articles over the years. Most of them were before I knew about EC so I never submitted them here. I could go through and submit a load of them here but I don't know if you would like that or not.

Most of the articles I have ever written (under my own name) are about making money online, home business, working at home, entrepreneurship, and other related topics.

MichelleJ

 So true for me too, Michelle!

I had this vision of committing to write or revise (on the average) one new article a day for the entire 4th quarter, but Clemmer jumped out of the gate with 70 to start, and I believe he is now over 80. I haven't given up yet, but I can see the writing on the wall . . .

. . . uh, er . . . I mean, the writing on Jim Clemmer's wall!

@Trent: Hey Trent! Go for it! Personally, I don't think I have a lot of older articles that I want to use for the purpose, but if you do, go for it!
