Sometime back I used it. It was directorysubmitter earlier. Later it has converted into linkdirectorysubmitter. Is that right?

Hi Robert,

Yes you are right, the full name is Link Directory Submitter, I'm not sure when it happened but the site is owned by Tom Dahne and Paul Martin.

regards,

Mal.

Yes, right. But do you think these links will stay for long on these free directories. Some links are approved instantly, and some will takes time.

Hi, Robert:

I have used Link Directory Submitter (LDS) for about three years. I have rarely gone back to a directory to check on the link, but what I do a few times each year is go back into the LDS, start at the top, and re-submit to all of the directories relevant to the website I am submitting for. In most cases, if the link is still active there, I get a message saying something like, "That site is already in the directory," and I move on to the next one.

It is a long process to submit to the directories, even using LDS, but LDS makes it much easier and faster, none-the-less. I will submit to about 10 - 20 directories each day until I have gone through the list. That doesn't take much time each day, it creates balance in my (SEO) link creation process, and, as you have said, it can take months before some directories review the submission and list the site, so doing it daily creates a more steady flow.

Hi Robert,

I suspect most of them will stay in the database for at least 12 months or more. As GT has rightly pointed out you receive a pop up message each time you try and enter a directory that already has your listing and I get a lot of that from directories that I submitted to last year.

Another thing I like is that each link turns green as your application is successfully accepted and every time you log back in you can easily scroll up to where you left off as all your applications are still showing green.

regards,

Mal.

Traffic is the lifeblood of your internet business and it is one of the most popular questions asked all the time how do I get more traffic.

The following are some good strategies that are proven to work to help ou gain traffic to your website

A) Forum Marketing
b) Article Marketing - (Where you distribute your content is the key to success with Article marketing)
c) Video Marketing
d) Blogging
e) Social Media ( sharing content amoungst a targeted network of friends or creating Fan Pages and updating)
f) Ezine advertising ( send solo mailings to email lists of people within your niche) Go to google and type in your niche name followed by ezine or newsletter

Hi, you can increase traffic through social media site Facebook and twitter. When you are creating a Facebook fan page, create attractive welcome page and add as many friends as you can then communicate with your friends. Post comment for your friends post like their status etc and just improve your communication and ask them to like your fan page. Run Facebook Applications like network blog and connect it to twitter.
