Hello, all:

It's interesting to see this topic back at the top again. And appropriate as we consider our plans for the New Year.

The idea we've discussed previously, and mentioned here again by Yinka, still has merit and potential ... but what it needs is leadership: someone willing to lead and coordinate it with focus. I think that is the biggest challenge, as we all seem to struggle with our own demands and development. But who knows? Anything can happen in the New Year!

Hi, Mary:

I think we're just seeing the evolution of technology: as the technology gets easier, people are testing different methods and styles to see how it looks and what works best. As we each adapt to newer technology and its ease of use, I think the aim is to find the style that suits us personally and once found, we will develop our web presence around it.

Hi GT,
It just seems like we are re-inventing the wheel with some of these things. Just when you figure out how to make a nice website, they decide we now need to have a blog to be "in". I'm sure it's all money related. Kind of like my cell phone. Just when I get used to it, it dies and I can't find another one because they don't make it any more. Therefore, I have to learn a new one and probably pay more for it. LOL

lol - Yes, I hear you on that! More and more modern electronics are getting like that; it's cheaper to buy new than it is to fix or upgrade older models of some devices. But, as you have mentioned, the manufacturers and sellers are figuring out ways to make more money off you when you do buy new or upgrade.

Wow!Thanks for sharing everyone.

Actually, I haven't earned much from my blogging yet but Yaro continues to inspire me with his success stories since he started introducing making money from blogging via his membership website and his blog. Here's one good post to look after and I'm sure you'll get inspired too!

Blogs are websites and everything you mentioned is easily done through Wordpress etc. anyways. It's just the mission of the site that is different.
