I wanted to send a big congratulations out to GT Bulmer who as of May 1st sits at 1,000 posts!

Many of you know GT for the great insights he has provided on our forums and the time and care he takes in crafting responses to your posts. He's been a great ambassador and champion of the forums and it's fantastic to see him cross the 1,000 post milestone!

I mentioned in another thread that what has kept me here is the quality and value you have built into your entire website, including the Entrepreneur Forums. EvanCarmichael.com truly is the place for entrepreneurial guidance and inspiration and I think ALL marketers and business people would do well to bookmark your site and visit it on a daily basis.

Of course, my friends in the Entrepreneur Forums give me wonderful reasons to hang around here, too, and they make it easy for me to find many things to comment on. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive and I definitely learn new things about online marketing every day.

I plan to do my best to continue to be an ambassador of good will for the Forums and for the website in general.

Now. I must return to Twitter to post the link to the good news of our April Contest Winners!

It is certainly true that when people contribute useful posts it helps everybody else to learn and also to respond, to the benefit of the forum and its visitors.

Thanks for the comments. Forums, for me, are like Social Networking sites to other marketers. I enjoy the interaction as well as the information.

I do sometimes think that I should hold back my comments so other members who do not post as often don't get the idea that posting LOTS of comments is required. I do worry that some members might feel intimidated by the number of posts that I, and others, sometimes contribute.

So, I try to remember to encourage members to visit and post at a pace that best fits their habits and schedule. We are not judged and will not judge members by their number of posts.

And one other factor for members to keep in mind is Evan's monthly posting contest. A forum member doesn't have to post lots of comments to win. We've had winners who posted only a few comments that month.

Regarding keeping up with Tanny and I when we are on a roll, we put it out to other members as a challenge ... but it is more of a friendly, fun challenge than it is a serious expectation.

(I should have been a writer for the Jerry Seinfeld show: I can sure write an awful lot about nothing! )

This month will be hard to lead, we have some holidays again and the finals are her, meaning long days at work.

I have a challenge for time this month, too. Actually, I am working hard this week to finish a writing project for one of my local clients, then I should have a little more flexibility to do what I really enjoy doing - online marketing!

As you know, Evan and I are introducing the iLearningGlobal opportunity in the new forum category, Entrepreneur University, and I so want to get busy working on promoting that category and the iLG opportunity ... but I have to focus on my client's stories to get them done by the deadline.

You don't have to worry about falling behind in posting in the forum - you are already doing great, setting a great example. We know that even if you are gone from here for a few days here and there, we will see you pop in whenever you can and we all look forward to your presence.

Competition is great and i know I wouldn't be here without it, but it is not the main reason for posting and participating. But I admit, it is the trigger I need to get some work done.

If there is none, i create one for myself and try to make it.
