I dont' know anything about the Toronto skylinle, but surely it's full of skyscrapers that could rent the top of their roofs to "hangars" for saucers?

That's what I thought :) I would guess that you also need a special "flying license" before you can legally take out up.

Hey, Stas:

When I was a young kid, that's what I thought, too. But as I got older, I looked at the positioning of the jet pack on your back and started wondering how you could protect your butt and your feet from getting fried!

I think it's being done, but I wouldn't think that the necessary design would allow it to be as light and flexible as people would like it to be. (Not to mention the weight of the fuel tanks and the fuel.)

This may all be fictional now, but who knows there was a time when nobody believed that airplanes would fly and look what happened. :D

I've always hated Sci-fi but I think having a flying saucer would be really fun. I would hover over things to get a really good look. I guess I'm just snoopy. LOL

Hello:

I didn't check to see if the flying saucer I mentioned in the first post is available yet, or not. If not, probably sometime soon.

I see a potential business opportunity when the first ones come out: you can land in a farmer's field and sell tickets for rides in the craft!
