Welcome to Entrepreneur University!

Postby Evan » Mon May 04, 2009 2:37 am

I've always been a big fan of continuous learning and have also found that I am a visual person and learn best through live events or video. I recently came across a fantastic website called iLearning Global which was founded by Brian Tracy and is a website with the largest collection of online personal development videos.

Some of the topics include:
- Balance
- Customer Service
- Entrepreneurialism
- Goal Setting
- Leadership
- Marketing Strategy
- Networking
- Sales & Sales Management
- Time Management

Some of the speakers include:
- Brian Tracy
- Jay Abraham
- Tony Alessandra
- Dan Clark
- T. Harv Eker
- John Gray
- Mark Victor Hansen
- Chet Holmes
- Trapper Woods

I have signed up for a Premium plus Edge subscription as has GT Bulmer, a familiar face in the forums.

The videos have been of tremendous value to me as I grow my business and the goal of this new section in the forums will be to share some of the discoveries that GT and I have made from being iLearning Global members.

iLearning Global also gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to make more money by recommending the service through it's affiliate program.

I've come across thousands of business ideas through the people who post articles and forum entries on my website and this is the first one that I feel comfortable enough with and find real value in to discuss and promote.

I hope you enjoy what's to come and look forward to your feedback!

Hello, Entrepreneur Forums members and visitors!

The introduction of this new forum category, Entrepreneur University, is exciting for me for a variety of reasons. Two reasons in particular:

First, because as a member of the forums and a moderator of the category, it allows me one more way to participate, contribute and, hopefully, add value to the forum experience for other members and visitors.

Second, it marks a partnership between Evan and I where we are teaming up to share with others one of our mutual passions: personal development and continuous learning. And what better way to achieve this than through materials provided and endorsed by Brian Tracy! This, of course, is via iLearning Global, as Evan has mentioned.

I had been looking for a product line that would dovetail with my personal interests and marketing goals. Recently, I began promoting other Brian Tracy products because I have been a fan of Brian's materials for several decades. When Evan approached me to review iLearning Global and consider contributing to this new Entrepreneur University forum category, it was, as they say, a "no brainer" for me.

Before signing up with iLearning Global, I checked out a few of the videos.

I was captivated by the state-of-the-art technology, professional programming and sheer knowledge and insight presented in each of the videos. Like a good book that you just can't put down, I found myself hanging on every word. One inspirational thought lead to another, fuelling the fire of desire to learn more.

Here in this Entrepreneur University forum category, my intent is to view the iLearningGlobal videos one at a time and begin posting reviews. I will try to present the essence of each video’s message so that whether you watch the video or not, you will still benefit from it.

Hi Evan,

I'm pleased to hear that you and GT have joined ILG and set up this forum thread. I actually tested ILG for a month earlier this year and was very impressed with the quality of the product to say nothing of the endorsement by Brian Tracy.

I am not currently a member, but I will be following this thread with interest.

Best wishes,

David Hurley

Hi David,

Thanks for the comment! Were there any particular videos that you liked? There is so much video content on the site that you tend to what to do everything at once! Let me know which ones you enjoyed the most and I'll check those out first!

Hi, Michelle and Tanny:

Thank you for your comments and your openness.

You have touched on one of the key values we hope to bring to this Entrepreneur University category, and one of the main reasons why Evan introduced the category: to share insightful, perhaps inspirational ideas and information directly from the iLearningGlobal programs Evan and I will be reviewing regardless of whether you sign up for iLearningGlobal or not.

I am tied up this week with another intense writing project, but within the week, I will begin reviewing the iLG programs and posting reviews of the main points here. So, do keep watching and thanks again for your interest!

Hi Evan and GT,
Can you clarify?

If you join the "Preferred Customer" you are not entitled to commission? Why? This is the the $79.95/month account, I don't understand why you are not getting commission from it?

Andy C. responding to your question. I;ve been with Ilearningglobal for a few months.
I went down to their corporate office to check it out, and at their Launch Conference in March.
Amazing company, first class executives running the company, and the Faculty are the best of the best in the world. I personally met Brian Tracy, Dan Clark, Bill Bartman etc. Simply great individuals.
As Brian Tracy says, "Learn from the experts, you'll never live long enough to learn it all yourself"

If you join as a Preferred Customer for $79.95, the Marketer who's website you signed up through, will earn a commission. If all you want is the Basic Membership, it's $79.95.
In order to earn commissions you need to be a Marketer. It is a one time $20.00 to be a Marketer.
For the $20 you receive:
1) Your own personal replicated website for marketing ILearningglobal.
( as people join, they are linked to you)
2) Provided with your own back office website to manage your business
( tracks your commissions, shows your customers & marketers etc. in your group)
3) Access to tools and training by ILearninglobal
All for just $20.
Every month thereafter, just your Membership of $79.95 qualifies you for commissions as people join.
Where can you operate a global business, with a huge potential for so little.

Hello, Andy C.:

Absolutely awesome and comprehensive answer to Tanny's question! I am so pleased that you were willing to pop in here and offer insight and encouragement for the iLearningGlobal program. That is exciting, to have met Brian Tracy, and the others, in person! That is one of my goals with this opportunity.

Hi, Tanny:

I am supposed to be getting ready for an important meeting with a local writing client ... but peeked in here at the Entrepreneur Forums. (You know me!) I appreciate your question and any further questions you, or others may have. I am so glad that Andy C. provided an answer.

I will add just one more thought. In my opinion, giving your prospects the choice of being either a marketer or a customer is one of the strengths of this program.

Other affiliate programs seem to focus heavily on the marketing aspect and either forget, or don't seem to care, that there is a large market of customers out there who just want the product and are not interested in the marketing opportunity. With iLG, if they don't want to get involved as an affiliate, they can simply become a customer and don't have to put up with all the marketing stuff that comes along with the affiliate membership.

Still, it is good to make EVERY prospect aware of the income potential, just in case they may be interested. And that is why I personally like how iLG presents it as an option when signing up. To me, that is a very positive way to approach it and a real strength.

Hi Andy C.
Thank you so much for answering my question.

I had a chance to look at the website more thoroughly over the weekend, I must say I love it, but unfortunately can't join right now.

GT,
You need to take a break from the internet :), and I agree with you. I love programs that give you a chance to offer people a quality product and not just sell them a business opportunity.
